Cats Fall to Sun Devils at Home

TUCSON, Ariz. (Oct. 1) - No. 14 Arizona committed 11 service errors Friday night in a losing effort against Arizona State who won the match in four games, 15-12, 15-13, 7-15 and 15-11.

With the loss the Cats fell to 9-4 and 3-2 in Pac-10 play, while the Sun Devils improved to 7-4 and 3-2.

Arizona sophomore setter, Dana Burkholder posted 55 assists, and led the team with 12 digs, while junior middle blocker Marissa DaLee led all players with 17 kills and hit .600 (17-2-25).

Sophomore outside hitter Robyn Mattingly led the Sun Devils with 16 kills and 10 digs, while sophomore Jami Coughlin also posted a double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs.

The Cats continue Pac-10 play next Thursday night at 7 p.m. when they play host to Washington.
