TUCSON, Ariz. Liz Brenner finished with a match-high 18 kills on .516 hitting to lead No. 4 Oregon (22-3, 13-3 Pac-12)  past Arizona (14-13, 6-10 Pac-12), 3-0 (11-25, 20-25, 16-25), Saturday night inside Matthew Knight Arena.

Alaina Bergsma added 15 kills and nine digs for the Ducks. Oregon hit .275 on the night, while limiting the Wildcats to just a .096 attack efficiency.

Freshman Halli Amaro (Los Alamitos, Calif.) led the Wildcats with nine kills on .571 hitting, while Shaquillah Torres (Riverside, Calif.) added seven kills. Olivia Magill (Seattle, Wash.) had a match-high four blocks for the Cats.

Oregon used a pair of 5-0 runs in the opening set to cruise to a 25-11 victory. The Ducks hit a solid .312 in the set, while Arizona hit -,023. Oregon was also benefitted by three service aces in the frame.

The second set was back and forth with each team taking a lead during the frame. With the score tied 19-19, Oregon went on a timely 4-0 run to take a 23-19 advantage late in the set. After Arizona cut the lead to 23-20 on a Torres kill, Oregon won the next two points to take the set, 25-20. Arizona actually out-hit Oregon .267 to .244 and out-blocked the Ducks, 4-0. The Ducks did have 18 kills compared to just 10 for the Wildcats.

Oregon opened the third set on a 10-2 run. The Wildcats were unable to cut into the lead as Oregon took the set, 25-16. The Ducks hit a solid .278 in the frame, while the Wildcats struggled again by hitting just ,097. The Ducks had three aces in the set to finish with a 11-0 advantage in service aces for the match.

The Wildcats close out the home portion of their schedule with matches against Colorado and Utah over the weekend. Arizona hosts Colorado on Friday at 7 p.m. before facing Utah on Saturday at 7 p.m. inside the McKale Center. .
