THIS WEEK: No. 18 Arizona (11-4, 5-2) wraps up the first half of conference play with a trip to the Northern California schools. The Cats will take on five-time defending Pac-10 champion Stanford at 7:30 Friday night, making their third Fox Sports Net appearance in four weeks. UA will then take on California at 7 p.m. Saturday. Friday's match will be the 400th of David Rubio's career.

WILDCAT NOTES: Arizona's .842 hitting percentage (16-0-19) in game two of the Cats' victory vs. Washington (10/7) was their best-ever single-game mark ... The Cats' loss to Arizona State (10/1) broke a streak of 24 consecutive matches they had won when they out-hit their opponents ... Arizona's win at Southern California (9/25) was David Rubio's first road victory against the Trojans after seven defeats ... Lisa Rutledge's 22 kills at USC were the most by a Wildcat since Keisha Johnson's 25 at OSU (11/16/97) ... Raelene Elam posted her career-best hitting percentage mark (.556) vs. Oregon (9/17) ... The 3,874 people in attendance at the Arizona-Nebraska match (9/11) marked the sixth-largest crowd ever to see a Wildcat volleyball contest ... Marisa DaLee came within one dig of posting Arizona's 18th triple-double vs. Santa Clara (9/3), and her 11 block assists in that contest tied her for third on the Cats' single-match list ... Shannon Torregrosa became the first Arizona freshman ever to post a double-double in her collegiate debut at UTEP (9/1) ... She is also only the fifth Wildcat freshman ever to start her first match under David Rubio ... Dana Burkholder's 1,801 career assists rank her fourth among active Pac-10 players ... Arizona ranks seventh in the first District 8 rankings of the season ... Seven of the Cats' 1999 opponents were ranked in the AVCA preseason poll, including three of the top four (No. 2 Stanford, No. 3 Nebraska, No. 4 Hawaii).

 
 

DaLEE DOMINATES: Junior middle blocker Marisa DaLee hit an Arizona season-best .667 vs. Washington (10/7), and followed that up with her third consecutive match of hitting .600 or better against Washington State (10/8). She's hit .500 or better in a match 10 times in her career:
