Stanford, Calif. - Top-ranked Stanford improved to 17-0 on the year with a 6-1 victory over No. 49 Arizona (6-10, 0-5) this afternoon at the Taube Tennis Center.

In doubles play, No. 39 Dianne Hollands and Maja Mlakar upset Stanford’s No. 12 Alice Barnes and Erin Burdette, 8-5.  Unfortunately for the Cats, that would be their only doubles win on the day, as the Cardinal took the other two doubles matches.

In singles, senior Kelly Perry upset No. 16 Erin Burdette on court three for Arizona’s only singles win in the match.

UA returns to Robson Tennis Center for its last homestand of the season.  The Wildcats will take on Washington Friday, April 8 at 1:30 p.m.  Saturday, Arizona will host Washington State in seniors Dianne Hollands, Maja Mlakar, and Kelly Perry’s last home match.
