2006-06 Season: Earned six first team All-American honors at the 2006 NCAA Championships... Holds school records in the 50 and 100 free... Anchored all three of the first-place NCAA Championship relays for Arizona... Also, finished second in both the 50 (22.10) and 100 (48.43) free, while placing fourth in the 200 free (1:45.00)...Swam the second leg of the second-place 800 free relay... Was second team Academic All-Pac-10... At the 2006 Pac-10 Championships, contributed to four of the five relays by anchoring both the 200 and 400 free relays that finished first... Anchored the second-place 800 free relay and also anchored the third-place 400 medley relay... Also finished third in the 50 free (22.70) as well as the 200 free (1:46.49) while finishing fifth in the 100 free (49.47)... Against Arizona State, finished first in two races including the 50 free (23.32) and the 500 free (4:54.65)... Finished first in the 100 free (50.73), 200 free (1:50.32) and the 500 free (4:56.30) against Texas... Also anchored the first-place 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay and the 200 free relay...Against Cal, took second place in the 200 free (1:48.79), the 50 free (23.15) and the 500 free (4:55.39)... Finished first in two individual events against Stanford including the 200 free (1:48.81) and 500 free (4:50.67)... Also anchored the first-place 400 medley relay... Won two events during the tri-meet against Northern Arizona, Oregon State and Washington including the 50 and 1000 free... At the 2005 Texas Invitational, anchored all four of the first-place relays and won the 200 free (1:45.73), while finishing second in the 100 free (48.60) and third in the 50 free (22.51)... Took first-place in two events against UCLA including the 200 free (1:47.98) and the 500 free (4:51.10), while anchoring the first-place 400 medley relay... Won the 200 and 500 free against USC... Against Wisconsin and Penn State, took first-place in three events including the 50, 200 and 500 free, and anchored the first-place 400 medley relay.

 

 

2004-05 Season: Responsible for setting a new school record in the 100 free (48.56)...  Was one of two freshmen to compete at the NCAA Championships as she finished second in the 100 free, 10th in the 200 free (1:46.35), and 10th in the 50 free (22.73)... Also, anchored three top championship relay teams... At the Pac-10 Championships, anchored the first-place 200 free relay that posted a fourth conference title for the Wildcats... Also anchored the third place 800 free relay, finished sixth in the 100 free and placed ninth in 200 free... Against ASU, finished first in the 200 free (1:49.63) and also in the 100 free (50.56)... Against Texas and SMU, finished third in the 100 free (50.67) and placed second in the 200 free (1:48.75)... Won the 200 free (1:49.53) against Stanford as well as the 100 free (50.73)... Against California, won the 100 free (50.69) and finished second in the 200 free (1:49.15)... During the double-dual meet with Northwestern and Washington, finished second in the 100 fly (56.87) and came in second-place in the 500 free (4:57.83)... Won the 100 free against Oregon State (51.25) and placed second in the 500 free (4:58.34)... At the 2004 Texas Invitational, finished third in the 50 free (22.860 and took third place in the 200 free (1:47.22)... Also won the 100 free (48.40)... Won two events against UCLA including the 200 free (1:50.56) and the 50 free (23.53) while also placing third in the 200 free (50.78)... Won the 100 free against USC (51.03) and finished second in the 50 free (23.66)...Against Wisconsin won the 100 free (51.29) and finished second in two events including the 200 free (1:51.80) and the 50 free (23.76).

 

National/ International Competition: 2006 ?- Was a two-time gold medalist for team U.S.A. at the Pan-Pacific Games anchoring the 400 free relay and swimming the second leg of the 800 free relay...Is an American record holder in  the 400 free relay...At the 2004 Olympic, Trials placed 10th in the 50 free and 16th in the 100 free.

 

Prep: Swam the 50, 100 and 200 free at Tucson’s  Mountain View High School...Was named Team Most Valuable Athlete all four years... Made the first-team All-City and first-team All-State all four years of high school... Holds six school records in the 50,100, 200, and 500 free, as well as the 100 fly and 100 back...Four-year state champion in the 50 free (2000-2003) and the 100 free (2001, 2002 and 2003)...State champion in the 50 and 100 free her senior year... Also swam for the Tucson Ford Dealers Swim Club... Graduated with a 4.0 Grade Point Average.

 

Personal: Born Lacey Pearl Nymeyer on Oct. 29, 1985, in Tucson, Ariz. ... Daughter of Aaron and Stacey Nymeyer... Has two younger brothers, Sterling and Brentyn... Major is physical education.
