TUCSON - Senior Isabelle Boineau, a member of the University of Arizona Wildcat women's golf team, recently completed competition at the 57th Harder Hall Women's Invitational. The four rounds of play were contested Wed., Jan. 4 through Sat., Jan. 7 at Sebring Country Club (Sebring, Fla.).
Playing in the championship division, Boineau picked up a sixth-place finish with a four-day total of 297 (+9). She shot rounds of 75, 73, 69 and 80. Boineau is also coming off a 16th-place finish at the Dixie Amateur Championship last week, where shot rounds of 76, 73, 72 and 71 for a four-day score of 292 (+4).
Additionally, senior Margarita Ramos and freshman Andrea Vilarasau also start tournament play this week. Ramos will be defending her title at the Mexican Amateur Championship and Vilarasau is playing in the Spanish International Ladies Strokeplay Championship.
Arizona will officially begin the collegiate spring season with the hosting of the Wildcat Invitational, Feb. 5-7, at the Golf Club at Vistoso.
