EUGENE, Ore. ?C A third inning three-run home run was all the Oregon Ducks needed to take down the No. 8 Arizona Wildcats and earn their first Pac-10 victory here on Sunday afternoon.

?

Arizona (27-10, 4-2 in Pac-10 play) gathered nine hits off of Alicia Cook (11-8), who struck out eight, but UA left 10 runners on base including a trio of Cats in the seventh.

?

The loss spoiled UAˇ?s weekend somewhat, with victories Friday at OSU, and Saturday against the Ducks? --when UA out-hit both clubs 27-5. In the third game UA also had a big edge in hits, nine to three.

?

Stacie Chambersˇ? two-out RBI double started the scoring for the Cats in the top of the first. The line drive scored Jenae Leles from first on a close play at the plate to make the score 1-0.

?

With two outs in the Oregon (26-16, 1-5) third, starter Lindsey Sisk (10-3) walked two batters to set up Neena Bryant, who touched her up for a three-run shot to l eft-center to give Oregon the eventual winning runs. A base hit later, Taryne Mowatt came in to relieve and struck out Joanna Gail to end the inning with UO leading 3-1.

?

UA got one back in the fifth, as Leles slammed her 10th home run of the season to opposite field to cut the deficit to 3-2.

?

Rain delayed the top of the seventh with Arizonaˇ?s Kˇ?Lee Arredondo at first and Leles courting a 3-0 count at the plate. After a 20-minute delay, she then singled and advanced pinch-runner Danielle Rodriguez to second. After Stacie Chambers flew out to left, Laine Roth walked to load the bases, but a Callista Balko hard grounder was trapped at third for the force to end the game.

?

Sisk gave up the three hits through two and two-thirds innings pitched. Reliever Mowatt gave up no hits and struck out six in three and one-third innings of work.
