One pair of 2001-02 men's basketball season tickets will be auctioned off on November 16, 2001 at the Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club from 6:00 - 7:30pm. The basketball tickets are in section 11 and the face value is $880. Bidding will begin at $500. All proceeds will benefit the Athletics Department in memory of C.A.T.S. Personal Development Director Becky Bell's late father, Edward T. Bell, Jr. Any amount paid over the value of the basketball tickets is considered tax-deductible.
In addition, a Parent/Adult-Child Doubles Tennis Tournament will be held December 1-2, 2001 at the Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club. Entry blanks are available at all local clubs. The tournament will feature a silent auction with items such as an autographed 2001 final four men.s basketball, an autographed 2001 national championship women.s softball team, golf for 4 at La Paloma, golf for 4 at Tucson National, and much more!
