East Lansing, Mich. All told, six Wildcat gymnasts earned top-five honors. Senior Andi McCabe chipped in with a second-place finish on vault (9.900), and a fourth-place finish on bars (9.800). The Wildcats are no strangers to fast starts. By earning three road victories, Arizona has started each of the last three seasons undefeated, amassing a 7-0 mark during that span. Under head coach Bill Ryden (six seasons), Arizona is 12-2 in season openers, including a 9-1 mark on the road.
Arizona will return from the state of Michigan to host UCLA on Friday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m. (MST) in McKale Center. The meet will be Arizona's first home meet of the season and will serve as the Wildcats' Pac-10 season opener.
