Wildcats Compete at Zone E Diving Championships

Oklahoma City, Okla.- The Arizona men's and women's diving teams completed the first day of competition at the 2004 Zone E Diving Championships this afternoon at the Oklahoma City Community College Aquatic Center.

In the 3-meter competition for the men, senior Josh Anderson took second place with 522.35 points. Sophomore John Collier finished 13th (440.20), senior Alex Vollelunga finished 19th (246.40) and freshman J.J Aderholt finished 24th (235.05) respectively.

For the women's 1-meter finals, freshman Mary Yarrison finished third with 533.95 points. Senior Daniela Bemme finished 15th in the competition with 449.70 points respectively.

The NCAA Zone E Diving Championships will continue March 12-13. Qualifiers from the meet move on to their respective NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
