TUCSON, Ariz. - Sophomore Brad Glenn Has been named the Feb. 13 Pac-10 Player of the Week, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Glenn, from Tulsa, Okla., went on a tear at the plate to help lead Arizona to a perfect 5-0 week. The outfielder went 9-for-17 (.529) with a double, three home runs, eight RBI and four runs scored in five games against Utah Valley State and New Mexico. He finished with a 1.118 slugging percentage and also drew two walks and was hit by four pitches to help lead to a .652 on base percentage. In addition, Glenn tied the Arizona school record when he hit three home runs in a single game against Utah Valley State, and narrowly missed out what would have been his record-breaking fourth homer when he hit a double off the left-center field wall in his final at bat of the game. He finished the contest 4-for-4 with a hit-by-pitch, three runs scored and a career-high five RBI.

The Player of the Week honor is the first in Glenn's career and the 47th all-time for an Arizona player. Arizona will return to action this weekend when it heads to Southern California for a three-game series against Cal State Fullerton.
