WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--The Arizona women's tennis team had five of its roster named to the 2010 Pac-10 All-Academic teams, which were announced today by Commissioner Larry Scott. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

Sarah Landsman, hailing from Syosset, New York, was the lone Wildcat named to the First Team. Landsman spent most of the spring schedule playing in the No. 2 position, and took a 10-match win streak to start off. The sophomore is currently ranked at No. 113 in the final ITA singles rankings.

Honored on the Second Team list was Nottingham, England native, Natasha Marks. The Pre-business major led the team from the No. 1 position. Marks finished off dual match play with an 11-10 record. In dual match doubles, Marks finished with a 14-8 record.

Sophomore Debora Castany, junior Jane Huh, and senior Claire Rietsch were all named to the honorable mention list for 2010. Castany finished off with a 7-9 record in dual singles, and a 4-4 record in dual doubles. Huh started off the spring season going 3-2 in her first five doubles matches, paired with senior Ariane Masschelein.
