OPELIKA, Ala. - Due to a lightening delay and darkness the completion of the NCAA Championship will conclude on Saturday. The Arizona women's golf team however, was able to finish before competition was halted at the NCAA Championship in Opelika, Ala. The Wildcats shot a 45-over-par 1197 to finish the season.

Individually, sophomore sensation Erica Blasberg finished the season by carding a 294 (+6). This was the second time this season the native of Corona, Calif. finished outside of the top-ten. Blasberg struggled her first day, but bounced back with three excellent rounds, but the three rounds were not good enough to propel her into the top-20.

Sophomore Cassandra Kirkland shot 10-over-par 298. Sophomore Alejandra Martin finished at 13-over-par 301. Sophomore Lani Elston carded a 20-over-par 308. Mar Garcia finished her junior season after shooting 23-over-par 311 for the tournament.

The final round will conclude on Saturday morning. The tournament was postponed before 12 teams were able to complete the final round.

This tournament concludes the 2003-04 women's golf season. Auburn University was the host of the 2004 women's golf championship. The tournament was held at Grand National Lake Course a par-72 course set across 6,215 yards.

***Final results will be posted once the final round is completed.
