         Six-foot-4 freshman guard breaks nose Wednesday; Probable for Saturday’s game


TUCSON, Ariz. ?- University of Arizona men’s basketball player David Bagga suffered a broken nose in practice Wednesday and is listed as probable for Saturday’s game against Arizona State.


Bagga, a 6-foot-4, 175-pound, freshman, guard/forward from Foothill Ranch, Calif., is averaging 1.2 points and 0.2 rebounds in six appearances this season.  He joined the program as a walk-on in August.


Bagga broke his nose in practice yesterday during the scrimmage portion of the workout.  He has been fitted with a protective mask.


Arizona (16-10, 9-6 Pac-10) next will be in action on Saturday when the team hosts Arizona State.  Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. MST and can be seen on Fox Sports Net.
