TUCSON, Ariz.- The Arizona volleyball team slipped four spots to 15th in the latest AVCA/USA Today Coaches Poll after dropping a pair of matches to Nebraska and Pepperdine over the weekend. The Wildcats, who have found trouble passing and serving early this season, have a 3-3 record through their first six matches.

Defending national champion Stanford remained the top team in the poll for the third consecutive week, but there was a bit of shuffling behind the Cardinal. Pac-10 rival USC took over the No.2 spot from Nebraska while Hawaii moved up one spot from fourth to third. The Huskers, who won both of their matches in Tucson but lost to USC earlier in the week, fell two spots to No. 4. Long Beach State rounded out the top five of the poll.

The Wildcats return to action this weekend with a pair of matches and an exhibition at Pacific's Invitational in Stockton, Calif. Arizona will face St. Mary's (Calif.) on Friday and No. 21 Pacific on Saturday. Prior to the match with the Tigers, Arizona will play an exhibition against the University of British Columbia. First serve for the Wildcats and Gaels on Friday is set for 5 pm.
