On the loss at Oregon State:
"We may have escaped for the first time all season with only some bumps and bruises. It was a very physical game, and they played hard and knocked us around all game. We got overpowered in some spots. Offensively, some of those sacks were the result of missed assignments, and that killed our pass protection throughout the game."
"We had a couple of good runs come out early, and we were trying to mix it up. But, in the last few games, we have been throwing more on first down because we are trying to make some plays and get down the field."
"Defensively, we played a three-man, four-man and five-man line in order to attack the run, but their offensive line played well, and they did a good job of keeping Lance Briggs from making the tackles."
On the Wildcats' outlook for this week:
"We have to regroup and get back to work this week. We are hoping that Gainus Scott, Sean Jones and Michael Jolivette will pick up some work this week. If he can practice, Jolivette will do anything to play, and if there's any way Jarvie (Worcester) can possibly be on the field, he will do anything to get ready."
