SEATTLE ?- The No. 21 Arizona volleyball team had its three-match winning streak snapped tonight as was swept (20-30, 27-30, 23-30) by No. 1 Washington at Bank of America Arena.
Arizona was out-hit .228 to .359 and out-blocked 7-5 on the match. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 15-9 overall and 7-7 in Pacific-10 play. Meanwhile, the Huskies improve to 21-0 overall and 13-0 in the Pac-10.
Junior Kim Glass led Arizona with her eighth double-double of the season, finishing with team highs of 20 kills and 14 digs. Junior Bre Ladd added 10 kills as the only other Wildcat in double-figure kills. Setter Stephanie Butkus notched 42 assists, five digs and three-blocks, while libero Kelli Mulvany added 13 digs.
The Wildcats face Washington State at 7 p.m. tomorrow, Nov. 12, in Pullman, Wash.
