2005-06 Season: Is an honorable mention All-American after finishing 13th in the 100 breast (1:01.93) at the 2006 NCAA Championships... Also placed 36th in the 200 breast (2:17.51)...Finished seventh in the 100 breast at the 2006 Pac-10 Championships (1:02.33) and 18th in the 200 breast (2:16.64)... Won the 100 breast against Arizona State (1:03.21)... Against California, finished second in the 200 breast (2:17.45) and third in the 100 breast (1:03.51)... Finished third in the 200 breast against Stanford (2:16.55)... in the tri-meet with Northern Arizona, Oregon State and Washington, finished second in the 200 breast (2:20.66)... At the 2005 Texas Invitational, finished seventh in the 100 breast (1:02.81) and 11th in the 200 breast (2:16.03)... Took third-place in the 200 breast against USC (2:19.06).


National & International Competition: 2005 - Finished 10th in the 100-meter breast at World Trials (1:11.67)... Also finished 11th in the 100-meter breast and 20th in the 200-meter breast at Summer Nationals.


Prep: Four-year letterwinner for swimming... Was team captain in 2004 and 2005...  Member of the 4A State Champion 400 medley relay in 2003... Was the 4A State Champion in the 100 breast in 2005... Holds an Oregon swimming record for the 100 breast (17-18 age group).


Personal: Born Jessica Siao Mei Embick on May 4, 1987 in Burbank, Calif. ... Daughter of Ramsey Embick and Fifi Chu... Grandfather, Richard Embick played football for the University of Wisconsin... Major is undecided.
