TUCSON - The University of Arizona Wildcat women's basketball team will play the No. 11/9 UCLA Bruins Thursday night at 7 p.m. at McKale Center.
For Thursday's game, fans who wear their favorite basketball jersey (youth, high school, college or professional) will pay a reduced $3 ticket fee (youth, adult and senior) for admission.
"Arizona basketball fans are the best around and they truly help us win games," head coach Niya Butts said. "We've had some great atmospheres in McKale this season for our games and we need that again Thursday. UCLA is a tough team but I think we match up well against them. We learned a lot in our last game with them and we're playing for the upset Thursday. It'll be even better to get that win with a big crowd on hand to cheer us on."
Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Cats as they go for an upset of the Bruins. Arizona currently sits at fifth place in the Pac-10 standings. The Wildcats have won three-straight Pac-10 games and are 10-2 when playing in the friendly confines of McKale Center.
