TUCSON, Ariz. ?- The No. 2 Arizona softball team (33-6 overall, 7-4 Pac-10) will travel to Oregon to face off against the Ducks and No. 7 Oregon State on April 29-May 1.
Arizona will take on Oregon (27-18 overall, 3-9 Pac-10) on Friday at 4 p.m. at Howe Field in Eugene, then will travel to Corvallis to play No. 7 OSU (35-8 overall, 10-2 Pac-10) on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the OSU Softball Complex and again on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Earlier this month, Arizona won twice against the Ducks in Tucson, both by a score of 8-1. However, the Beavers upset the Wildcats at home on April 8, 1-0, behind the arm of pitcher Brianne McGowan.
Currently, Arizona is tied for third in the Pac-10 with a 7-4 record, while Oregon State is in first place with a 10-2 mark. Oregon is seventh with a conference record of 3-9.
