Less than 2,000 tickets remain for the Oregon State-Arizona football game Oct. 9 on Family Weekend, associate athletics director James Francis reported today.
"Sales in the past several days have been good and we have eight more days plus online sales to help us reach a second advance sellout," he said. The Cats announced a sellout a day prior to the Sept. 18 Iowa game earlier this year.
No. 14-ranked Arizona (4-0) gets a bye this Saturday while Oregon State (1-2) plays host to Arizona State in Corvallis. The last two games in the Arizona-OSU series have been decided by five and two points in the closing minutes, including last year's Arizona 37-32 victory in Corvallis.
Tickets can be purchased from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the McKale Center Ticket Office, online here, or by calling 520-621-2287 or 800-452-2287.
The other games on UA's home schedule also appear capable of attracting capacity crowds including the Oct. 23 Homecoming tilt against Washington, a Nov. 13 date with Southern California and the Dec.2 (Thursday) State Farm Territorial Cup showdown with Arizona State. Tickets for each remain.
