FULLERTON, Calif. - Alicia Hollowell shut out Florida State on three hits and Lovie Jung hit her 15th home run of the season to help Arizona to a 2-0 victory over the Seminoles in Friday action at the Kia Klassic softball tournament in Fullerton, Calif.

UA managed only seven hits off FSU's Jess van der Linden, but two of them were a single by Courtney Fossatti and the home run by Jung in the Cats' third inning.

Hollowell improved to 16-2 with the victory, striking out 10 and walking two. Arizona, tied for the No. 1 ranking in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll, improved to 27-2.

Arizona was to play Louisiana-Lafayette later in the day during the pool-play tournament.
