TUCSON - Play has concluded at The Battle of Rancho Bernardo and the eighth-ranked University of Arizona Wildcat women's golf team earned a seventh-place finish in the team race. The three-day, three-round event was held on the championship golf course at the Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Resort & Spa (par 72, 6,336 yards) in San Diego, Calif.

No. 7 Purdue won the team race with a total of 879 (+15). The Boilermakers collected rounds of 295, 292 and 292. No. 1 USC earned a runner-up finish with a total of 886 (+22). The Women of Troy carded scores of 299, 295 and 292. No. 3 UCLA rounded out the top-three teams with a score of 887 (+23). The Bruins tallied scores of 293, 304 and 290. Laura Gonzalez of Purdue won the individual title with rounds of 70, 71 and 68 for a three-round total of 209 (-7).

Junior Nikki Koller ended the event tied for 25th place with her rounds of 75, 76 and 76 for a total of 227 (+11). No. 75 senior Alejandra Llaneza finished tied for 34th with a three-day total of 229 (+13) with scores of 79, 76 and 74. No. 19 junior Isabelle Boineau was tied for 44th after shooting rounds of 76, 76 and 79. She totaled a 231 (+15). Sophomore Kyndall Ardoin tied for 47th carded a 232 (+16) with rounds of 73, 81 and 78.

Freshman Haley Andreas competed as an individual and finished tied for 86th. She collected scores of 85, 81 and 81 for a three-day total of 247 (+31). No. 34 junior Margarita Ramos was disqualified on Sunday but posted rounds of 74 (+2) on Monday and 79 (+7) on Tuesday.

The Wildcats will compete next at the PING/ASU Invitational, April 1-3, in Tempe, Ariz.
