Wildcats Travel to Evansville
Arizona (5-1) hits the road this weekend for the Evansville Dunn Hospitality Invitational. The Wildcats will play Illinois-Chicago on Sept. 9 at 3:30 p.m. and face Southeast Missouri State at 9 a.m. and Evansville at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 10. 
Freshman Madi Kingdon leads the team in kills with 71, kills per set with 3.38 and total attempts with 221. Senior Cursty Jackson leads the team in blocks with 27 (7 solo) and senior Marketa Han­zlova leads the team in digs with 70.

Series History vs. Tourney Field
This marks Arizona’s first meeting with all opponents.

Scouting UIC

The Flames are 5-1 overall and are coming off of a win over Montana State and a loss versus Northwestern. IUC is hitting .208 as a team and holding opponents to a .163 hitting percentage.  It is led offensively by Kelsey Safranek who is averaging 3.82 kills per set.  Mary Kate Imrie averages 10.7 assists and Justine Garcia averages 3.05 digs per set.  The Flames are led by second-year head coach Katie Shumacher-Cawley.

Last Meeting vs. UIC
This is the first meeting between UIC and Arizona.

Scouting Southeast Missouri State

The Redhawks are 2-5 overall and are coming off of wins over Buffalo and Youngstown State and losses against Indiana and Arkansas-Little Rock.  SeMO is hitting .160 as a team, while holding opponents to a .253 hitting percentage. It is led offensively by Karlee Lurson who averages 3.00 kills per set.  Julie Shives averages 8.42 assists per set and Samantha Lowman averages 3.79 digs per set.  The Redhawks are led by first-year head coach Julie Folliard

This is the first meeting between SeMO and Arizona.

Scouting Evansville
The Purple Aces are 7-2 overall and are coming off of wins against Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Murray State and losses to Valparaiso and Ball State.  Evansville is hitting .267 as a team and holding opponents to a .181 hitting percentage.  It is led offensively by Brooke Maher who is averaging 3.82 kills per set.  Ellen Sawin is averaging 11.59 assists and Katie Klages is averaging 4.28 digs per set.  The Purple Aces are led by ninth-year head coach Mike Swan.
