LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Sophomore Nikki Koller shot 1-under par 71 and is 3-over par to lead the Arizona junior varsity squad after two rounds at the Price’s Give ‘Em Five Intercollegiate Event, Tuesday afternoon at the New Mexico State University Golf Course.

Koller is tied with four other golfers for 11th place overall, sitting 10 shots off the individual pace set by Christine Wong of San Diego State at 7-under. Two of her teammates shot 73 as Emily Mason trimmed three strokes off her opening round total while Marie Tschida dropped a full six strokes to shoot 1-over par.

Mason sits at 5-over par and is tied for 21st place while Kyndall Ardoin is two shots behind her in a share of 29th overall. Tschida sits one stroke behind her fellow newcomer and Ashley Malaska is at 161 after 36 holes.

Idaho shot the low team round of the day to claim the overall lead at 7-over par by one shot over UC Irvine. The Wildcats, finishing the day at 599, are only four strokes out of third place, held jointly by Fresno State and San Diego State. Baylor is two shots ahead of Arizona at 597.

Final round action begins with another shotgun start as the Wildcats will be positioned on holes four through six at 8:30 a.m. (CST)
