McCall Zerboni and Kara Lang delivered Cheney the ball inside the goal box.? Cheneyˇ?s shot was just out of the reach of Cats goalkeeper Halley Brown, who dove and got a hand on the ball.

The Bruins scored again 28 minutes later, this time it was Lang on the receiving end of a pass.? She received a pass from Lauren Wilmoth and Christina DiMartino and headed the ball into the goal from the left side.?

The Bruins took the 2-0 lead into halftime, but were not satisfied with it; six minutes into the second half they scored their third and final goal of the game.? Wilmoth received a pass from Kylie Wright and took a shot from outside the goal box, for her first goal of the season.

Arizona had opportunties in the second half to score, but could not get any of their four shots by Bruin goalkeeper Valerie Henderson.? The two best opportunities the Cats to score came late in the game.? Junior forward London King had a shot on goal, but a Bruin defender made the save.? With under a minute to play, senior midfielder Sarah Litt had a header which Henderson barely saved from going in.
