Catch all the excitement...

* 10th ranked Baylor begins its bid to defend the national championship after a Cinderella run in 2005.

* Arizona State has been ranked as high as No. 9 in the country and went to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2005.

* New Mexico will be looking for pay back as the Lobos face Florida in the first round of the NCAA Tournament for the second time in two years. Florida defeated New Mexico 68-56 at Albuquerque in 2004.

* No. 12 seed Middle Tennessee State has upset a No. 4 and No. 5 seed in the last two years of the NCAA Tournament, and is led by the eighth-leading scorer in the country (Chrissy Givens). The Blue Raiders open in Tucson against No. 5 seed Utah.

* Tucson natives Kim Winkfield (NAU) and Kate Engelbrecht (ASU) will be playing in front of a hometown crowd.
