BRENTWOOD, Tenn.--Arizona senior cornerback Antoine Cason and senior punter Nick Folk were named to the All-America football squad this week.

Cason, a leader on UA's defense, was named to the second team defense while Folk earned third-team special teams honors.

Cason was Arizona's leading tackler in the secondary with 62, plus tied for the team lead with three interceptions including the eventual game-winner he returned for a touchdown against No. 8 California. He was a two-time Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week, for his efforts at Washington State and vs. California. He broke up seven passes, and forced and recovered fumbles. He has 10 career interceptions

Folk leads the conference with a 44.0 punting average, and put 24 of his 74 kicks inside the opponents' 20 yard-line. He helped the Cats record a 36.3 net average, third-best in the Pac-10. He is ranked No. 11 nationally in punting -- a job he took over only last year when Danny Baugher was injured and Folk also had the highest individual average in the league. He also has been UA's four-year place kicker and this year kicked 15 of 20 field goals including his final nine tries.

Both players were named first-team All-Pacific-10 Conference earlier this week.
