FRANKLIN, Tenn. - The Arizona women's golf team stands tied for second place Tuesday after its second day of competition at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational in Seattle, Wash.

The Wildcats stand tied for second place after shooting 16-over-par 592. Arizona trails second round leader California by one stroke after the Golden Bears shot a 15-over-par 591 on Tuesday. UCLA (592) is tied with Arizona at second. Southern California (601) occupies third place and Oregon holds fifth with a 36-over-par 612.

Individually Arizona sophomore Erica Blasberg is tied for third, after shooting a second round 145 (+1) on Tuesday. The native of Corona, Calif. stood tied for 25th place, Monday, after carding a 76 (+4) in the first round.

Junior Mar Garcia is tied at 5th place after shooting 2-over-par 146 in round two. Sophomore Whitney Welch is tied for 12th at 5-over-par 149. Sophomore Lani Elston is tied for 19th after shooting 8-over-par 152. Sophomore Cassandra Kirkland tied for 39th after shooting 12-over-par 156.

The Wildcats will tee off in Wednesday's final round beginning at 9:50 a.m. PST. The tournament is being played at Sahalee Country Club, a par 72, 6,030-yard layout.
