Arizona Head Coach Sean Miller
"It was important for us to come out with a lot of energy today, because we came back from Florida at three in the morning after a hard fought, overtime game. We didn't have a lot of recovery time, and it took us a lot of effort. I told the team that we win as a team and lose as a team, and that there is nothing wrong with losing a hard-fought game on the road."
"When Clemson came out with that run in the second half, I was very glad to see Solomon Hill's performance. He really took over and did exactly what we needed him to do. We really had a lot of quality play from a lot of individual players today. Kyle Fogg's defensive effort was great, and it was good to see Josiah Turner return to us. I know that sometimes it's difficult to come back into the mix after a missed game, but I think he handled it very well, and we will continue to see more and more good things from him."
"We are getting better on defense. We're not a very big team, but there were times when Clemson had the ball down low and we would swarm them, which we have to do. We learned a lot about defending the low post from our game at Florida and really used that today."
"Angelo Chol is really starting to impact the game, especially on defense. Over the last two games, he's had some quality blocks, and unlike most young players, he is gaining weight, which is really helping his performance. I think today was his best game at Arizona, and he is just going to get better."
"A lot of our guys are going into their last semester, and the have either three or four finals next week, which is a lot of pressure. We also have a number of younger players that we want to ensure remain academically eligible. We'll really use this week to have a chance to heal up, and make sure that our guys are doing well in school."
Arizona Player Quotes
#44 Solomon Hill
On Arizona's play before and after the 4:23 timeout in second half
"Today on the court I had flashbacks, and then after the media timeout, we came back and scored four points, which I was thrilled about."
"Nick flourishes in the way that we play. He has consistent plays and as a team we have all learned to be consistent. Josiah threw the team for a loop when we went to Florida."
On Josiah Turner changing his habits
"I talk to Josiah, and because he is a freshman he has to do so much and learn very fast. He has to change some of his daily habits."
On his personal progression from his freshman year
"My freshman year on the team it took a long time to get to where the team ended up my sophomore year. I think by the Pac-12 play the team will have made progress by then."

On his two positions and transformation in college
"I am going to continue to play both spots [point guard and shooting guard] and get better at both. After playing the 10 games that I have played in college I've notice that this is a huge adjustment. I'm right where I expected to be in college and in and out everyday, Kyle Fogg has helped me. He is a huge part of my transformation."
