NEW YORK--Arizona (2-0) returned to the AP rankings for the second consecutive year and first week since its humbling loss to Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl last December.

The Cats are No. 24 this week and will entertain No. 9 Iowa in a showdown to be televised live on ESPN at 7:30 p.m. (MST) Saturday.

Arizona joined fellow Pac-10 squads Oregon (5), USC (18), Stanford (19) and Oregon State (25) in the Top 25.

The Wildcats moved up to No. 18 in the USA Today poll of national coaches.
