Saturday's rained out match against UCLA (17-5, 7-2 Pac 10) concluded this morning, with the Bruins coming out on top over the Wildcats (10-9, 1-6 Pac 10) 4-2.

Doubles play was cut short, with only one match played. Senior Danielle Steinberg and freshman Sarah Landsman defeated Carling Seguso and Stephanie Wetmore, ranked 30 in ITA, 8-4

In singles, freshman Sarah Landsman came back from a 5-2 deficit in the first set to come on top over No. 90 Maya Johansson 7-5, 6-2.

In the No. 2 spot, freshman Natasha Marks defeated No. 45 Andrew Remynse 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.

"We knew this was going to be a tough weekend, but we performed much better against these teams than we did last week." Said head coach Vicky Maes, "Natasha and Sarah both played good singles today and that's very encouraging. We are still looking for more from 4, 5, and 6, but hopefully next weekend we can put it all together against ASU."

Next week, the Wildcats will host their final home match against Portland State before taking on conference rival Arizona State in Tempe on April 17 and 18. Both matches are slated to start at 1 p.m.
