Arizona Men's Tennis Doubles Team Falls in Semifinals of ITA/So. Calif. Fall Regional Championships

Malibu, Calif. - The Arizona men's tennis team completed its run, Saturday, at the ITA/Southern California Fall Regional Championships in Malibu, Calif., with a loss in the semifinal round of doubles play.

Arizona's last team standing, Whi Kim and Tom Lloyd lost to the No. 2-seeded team of Sebastien Graeff and Stefan Suter of Pepperdine, 8-5.

Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center on the Pepperdine campus is the site for this weekend's Championships. The four-day tournament begins Oct. 25 and continues through the championship matches on Oct. 28.

The tournament includes a 64-player singles and 32-team doubles draw and features players from 11 schools--Arizona, Arizona State, Cal Poly, Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, San Diego, UC Irvine, UCLA, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara and USC.

The Arizona men's tennis team next travels to Honolulu, Hawaii, Nov. 20, to take on the University of Hawaii.
