Women's Tennis Swept at No. 6 Cal

BERKELEY, Cali. - The No. 42 Arizona Wildcats were swept for the second consecutive day at No. 6 California today at the Hellman Tennis Center. The Wildcats fall to 8-10, 2-2 while the Golden Bears improve to 17-3, 3-0 on the season.

In doubles, Cal took the first two matches to claim the doubles point. The Arizona pair of Juliette Mavroleon and Jessie Rochefort was able to get a win in the third spot, 8-6. In singles, the Wildcats experienced results similar to yesterday as they fell in straight sets on all six courts.

Next week, Arizona will host Southern California and UCLA in Pac-10 play. The Wildcats will face the Women of Troy at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 6, and will take on the Bruins at noon on Saturday, April 7.
