TUCSON, Ariz. - Junior Chris Henry has been named the Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Week and senior teammate Nick Folk the Pac-10 Special Teams Player of the Week, commissioner Tom Hansen announced today. The honors, the third and fourth for Arizona players over the last three weeks, is the first in Henry's three-year UA career, while it is the second for Folk this year and the third in his four-year Wildcat career.

Henry exploded for 212 yards of total offense, scored a career-high three touchdowns and accounted for 18 of UA’s season-high 37 points as the Wildcats defeated Oregon in Eugene for the first time in 20 years on Saturday. The running back rushed for a career-best 191 yards on 29 carries, averaged 6.6 yards per carry and tallied two of his three scores on the ground. His scoring rushes came from 15 yards out in the first quarter and on a career-long 61 yards late in the third quarter. In addition to his outstanding rushing numbers, he also added a scoring reception from QB Willie Tuitama when he took a screen pass at the line of scrimmage, raced all the way across the field and then rumbled 21 yards for his third score of the game. Due largely to Henry’s efforts, Arizona scored a season-high 37 points, out-rushed Oregon 230-163 in the game and finished with a huge edge in time of possession, 36:20-23:40.

Do-it-all kicker Folk scored 13 of Arizona’s season-high 37 points on Saturday. He connected on all three of his field goal tries, hitting from 28, 29 and 45 yards out, and was good on all four PAT attempts. His three successful FG attempts against the Ducks tied his career-high for a single game, extended his streak to nine straight makes dating back to the Stanford game on Oct. 14 and made him 15-for-20 on FG attempts for the year. In addition to his place kicking duties, Folk also punted six times on the day, averaged 40.7 yards per punt, saw two of his rugby-style punts mishandled by the Ducks to lead to two turnovers and 10 points and placed four of his six punts inside UO’s 20 yard line.

Arizona will wrap up its regular season this Saturday in the annual Duel in the Desert game againt in-state rival Arizona State. Tickets are still avaiable by calling the UA ticket office at 520-621-2681, ordering them on-line at or by stopping by the McKale Center Ticket Office.
