WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--Arizona sophomore linebacker Jake Fischer, sophomore safety Anthony Wilcox and junior kicker John Bonano earned first-team Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic honors today.

Earning second-team citations were sophomore linebacker R.J. Young and sophomore safety Adam Hall.

Four Wildcats earned honorable mention honors -- redshirt freshman tight end Jack Baucus, junior quarterback Nick Foles, junior receiver David Roberts and senior tight end A.J. Simmons.

The five first- or second-team honors matched UA's 2008 lineup as the most citations for UA in one year. Roberts earned second-team honors that season. Young repeats after earning second-team honors in 2009.

Bonano carried the top grade point average among UA's selections for 2010, posting a 3.90 mark in pre-physiology. Fischer has a 3.42 GP as a pre-business major and Wilcox carries a 3.05 mark in religious studies.

UA's three top honors tied Oregon for third-highest among league squads on the first team behind Washington State's six honorees and four from Stanford.
