TUCSON, Ariz. - The University of Arizona volleyball team will utilize one of the nation's premier volleyball training centers this week as the team will hold practice at Court One Athletics in Tempe, Ariz.
Practice will run from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening with the general public to welcome to come watch head coach Dave Rubio as he instructs his players through a spring workout.
UA, which has made the NCAA tournament in back-to-back seasons, brings back a talented group of players for the 2011 season including Phoenix natives Emily Helm who prepped at Hamilton HS and the 2010 Arizona high school player of the year in Madison Kingdon from Sunnyslope HS.
Court One is a 43,000 square foot state-of-the-art sports facility in Tempe which features eight full volleyball courts. The facility is located at 9100 S. McKemy St., Tempe, AZ 85284.
Fans are encouraged to attend the open practice session and observe what a perennial Top 25 program's practice is like.
