SAN DIEGO, Calif. ?- No. 75 Arizona men’s tennis team (5-7) had its three-game winning streak end today at the Aztec Tennis Center.  The Wildcats fell to San Diego State, 5-2.  The Aztecs (5-5) took the doubles point and carried their momentum through to singles to get the upset win.


In singles, Arizona was only able to win one of the three matches while the Aztecs took the point.  Jason Labrosse and Peter Zimmer paired on court two for an 8-5 win over Billy Timu and Robert Sabo.


In singles, J. Labrosse picked up a point for the Wildcats with his 6-2, 7-5, 6-3 win over Achim Ceban in the No. 5 spot.  Alex Labrosse won in the No. 6 position, 4-6, 6-4, 10-7, over Sabo to get Arizona’s only other point on the day.


This weekend the Wildcats will host UCLA and USC in non-conference match ups.  Arizona will face off with the Bruins at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 16 and will take on the Trojans at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 17.
