TUCSON - University of Arizona Wildcat senior women's golfer Margarita Ramos concluded her collegiate career with the final round of play at the NCAA Championships on Friday. Hosted by Vanderbilt University, the four-round event was held at Legends Club North Course in Franklin, Tenn. The course is a par 72 over 6,451 yards.
Ranked No. 85 by Golfstat.com, Ramos finished in a six-way tie for 45th place. She carded rounds of 76, 72, 77 and 73 for a four-day score of 298 (+10). She shot six birdies during the tournament.
No. 2 Alabama won the team title with a score of 1,171 (+19). No. 3 USC was second with a 1,172 and No. 7 LSU rounded out the top three with a 1,173. No. 59 Chirapat Jao-Javanil of Oklahoma won the individual title with rounds of 69, 73, 70 and 70 for a score of 282 (-6).
