Arizona Men?s Tennis Concludes Qualifying at ITA All-Americans

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. ?- The Arizona men’s tennis team completed qualifying play at the Icy Hot/ITA All-American Tuesday, Oct. 5. Individually, the Wildcats earned a 1-1 record during the qualifying rounds, a 4-2 record overall, and two spots in the main qualifying rounds.


Competing in the round of 64 was No. 85, senior Colin O’Grady. O’Grady fell to Treat Huey of Virginia, 6-4, 6-4.


The Wildcats return to action Thursday, Oct. 7, as No. 85 O’Grady and No. 29 Roger Matalonga, currently ranked No. 5 in doubles, will begin play in the main rounds, facing players yet to be determined.
