2005-06 Season: Utilized a medical redshirt due to an ankle injury.


2004-05 Season: Finished 12th in the 10-meter platform (309.90) and 28th in both the 1 and 3-meter competitions at the Pac-10 Championships... Finished ninth on both springboards against Arizona State... Against California, finished eighth in the 1-meter competition. 


National & International Competition- In 2004 competed in the Orlando International Invitational.


Prep: Two-year letterwinner for diving at Torrey Pines High School...Two-time Most Valuable Player... Team captain as a senior... Made the all-conference and all-city teams two years in a row... Also competed for the Mission Viejo Nadadores, where she placed fourth on the woman’s 16-18 tower at the SPA Championships... Lettered one year in gymnastics as well.


Personal: Born Shayna Rae Keel on Aug. 24, 1986, in Long Beach, Calif. ... Daughter of Gale Keel who was a gymnast for The University of Southern California from 1976-79...Is interested in a degree in political science with the intent of becoming an entertainment lawyer.
