TUCSON –Senior member of the University of Arizona Wildcat women’s golf team Margarita Ramos will compete in her last collegiate event, the NCAA Championships, Tuesday-Friday, May 22-25. Hosted by Vanderbilt University, the four-round event will take place at Legends Club North Course in Franklin, Tenn. The course is a par 72 over 6,451 yards.
Ramos qualified for the NCAA Championships by winning a one-hole playoff at the NCAA East Regional Championships, where she finished tied for 10th overall. On the season, she holds a stroke average of 74.06 and has collected nine rounds at or below par. She has five top-10 finishes and six in the top 20. She’ll play in her fourth career NCAA event this week.
Playing as an individual, Ramos will form a trio with Rocio Sanchez Lobato of Georgia and Gabby Dominguez of Texas Tech. They will tee off at 8:28 a.m. ET on Tuesday with tee times and pairings of the individuals to be announced for the final three rounds.
