TUCSON, Ariz. ?- No. 3 Arizona (10-0) continued its perfect season, defeating North Carolina State (6-4), 6-0, in UA’s third game in the Worth Wildcat Invitational.

The Wildcats tallied nine hits and one error to the Wolfpack’s one hit and two defensive hiccups.

Arizona broke the game’s scoreless tie in the third, when Chelsie Mesa had a bases-loaded single to drive in Caitlin Lowe.  Two batters later, Laine Roth drew a nine-pitch walk, bringing in Adrienne Acton.

Alicia Hollowell (5-0) tossed her fifth consecutive complete-game shutout, allowing only one infield hit and no walks.  UA’s three-time All-American struck out 17 Wolfpack batters en rout to the victory.
