2003-04 Season: First team All-American in the 200 free relay... All-Pac-10 Academic first team... Anchored the second-place 200m free relay team the NCAA Championships... Posted four NCAA consideration times at the Pac-10 Championships...Contributed to the second-place 800y free relay...Finished seventh in the 200y free (1:38.57) and ninth in the 200y IM (1:47.94)...Swam the third leg of the 400y free relay posting an NCAA automatic qualifying time (2:53.39)...Anchored the first-place 400m free relay against Arizona State...Was third in the 200y IM (1:55.56) against Texas...Against Stanford, anchored the first-place 200y free relay...Placed fifth in the 200y free (1:42.26)...Was fourth in the 200 back (2:05.3), fifth in the 200 free and anchored the first place 400 free relay against Cal...At the 2003 Texas Invitational, posted two NCAA consideration times, finishing 16th in the 200y free and anchoring the first-place 200y free relay...Also was 12th in the 200y IM...Placed fifth in the 800m free (9:31.99) against USC.

2001-02 Season: All-American at 2002 NCAA Championships in 400 free relay, helping the squad finish fifth... At 2002 Pac-10 Championships, placed seventh in 200 IM (1:48.58), seventh in the 200 free (1:38.21) and 14th in the 100 free (44.40)... Also at Pac-10s, was a member of the 200 free relay team and the 200 medley relay, both of which earned third-place finishes... In dual meet action, placed fourth in the 200 back (1:50.75) against Stanford... Part of the 400 free relay that logged a victory against Texas... Had the team’s best time in the 200 IM for the season (1:47.76)... Mary Roby Academic Achievement Award winner.

2000-01 Season: Joined the Arizona swimming squad in January of 2001, midway through the season... At the 2001 Pac-10 Championships, placed 21st in the 200 IM (1:52.37)... The time made him the fourth-fastest Wildcat swimmer in the 200y IM for the 2000-01 season.

National & International Competition ?- Member of the South Africa Junior National Team from 1996-2001... Set 43 South African records from 10 to 16 years of age... Set three Africa Junior Championship records and eight British Age Group records... Youngest male to medal at Senior Nationals in South Africa at the age of 14, winning the bronze in the 200 free and 200 back... 2000: Selected to swim for South Africa at the Commonwealth Games in Scotland... Attended the South American Championships in Sa Paulo, Brazil... 1999: Participated in an international meet between South Africa and Brazil... 1998: Competed in the British Age Group Championships and in the World Youth Games in Moscow... 1997: Competed in both the British and Australian Age Group Championships... 1996: Participated in the British Age Group Championships...
