TUCSON, Ariz. ?C The No. 4-ranked Arizona Wildcats womenˇ?s team outlasted heavy rains and the fifth-ranked California Golden Bears to claim a 170.50-129.50 dual meet victory at Spieker Aquatics Complex on Friday afternoon.

Starting off the meet with a victory for the Wildcats in the 400 yard medley relay was the team of Hailey DeGolia, Annie Chandler, Ana Agy and Lacey Nymeyer with a time of 3:40.11. DeGoliaˇ?s day of first place finishes didnˇ?t end there. She also finished in first in the 100 yard backstroke (53.85).

In the 100 yard breaststroke Arizona swimmers Annie Chandler (1:01.71) and Jacquelyn Craft (1:02.38) fished one, two while Calˇ?s Alexandra Ellis finished in third place with a time of 1:05.20.

Arizonaˇ?s Craft (2:15.43), Chandler (2:16.54) and Carley Beaurdeau (2:17.20) finished first, second and third in the 200 yard breaststroke. Nymeyer kept the winning streak going when she finished in first place in the 500 yard free (4:49.15).

In the 200 yard IM, Arizonaˇ?s Beaurdeau finished in first place with a time of 2:02.09.

The team of Anna Turner, Taylor Baughman, Kathryn Raatz, and Nemeyer finished in first place in the 400 yard free relay.

In the diving well, Arizona had second place finish when Danni Ridgway scored a 260.18 in the 3 meter dive. Holly Kast came in first place (255.30) in the 1 meter dive.

Up Next: Tomorrow the women will head to Palo Alto, Calif. to face the Stanford Cardinal.
