TUCSON - Eastern Michigan beat San Jose State 3-1 Sunday afternoon in both teams' final action of Arizona's Worth Wildcat Invitational softball tournament.

Lauren Allen led off the top of the first with a home run to left to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead.

But SJSU tied the game in the next frame. Karlie Reiss led off the Spartan second with a single, moved to second on an error, to third on a sacrifice, then scored on Carol Forbes' RBI single to tie the game.

Natalie Hales singled in a run in the top of the third to give EMU a 2-1 lead. The Eagles added another unearned run in the sixth thanks to two San Jose State errors.
