WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Arizona senior midfielder Nikki David has been named Pac-10 Soccer Co-Player of the Week, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today. California’s senior forward Liz Eisenberg also received the honor.

David, from Manhattan Beach, Calif., led the Wildcats to two wins over the weekend, including a 2-1 victory 2004 College Cup semifinalist, Princeton, snapping the Tigers’ 19-match home field winning streak. David scored the first goal for Arizona at 37:51 and assisted on the game-winning goal to claim Thursday’s match.

In Saturday’s game versus Penn, David assisted on the first two goals of the Wildcats’ 4-0 victory over the Quakers. Her six points over the weekend helped Arizona claim the Princeton Invitational title, improving the team’s overall record to 3-1-1.

This is the first weekly honor for David, and Arizona’s seventh Pac-10 Player of the Week all-time.
