Hey GYMCAT Fans!

Last weekend was filled with fun and excitement! We had our third home meet of the year against #3 Stanford, and although it wasnˇ?t a win for the GYMCATS , we still put up a good team score that locked us in at Lucky #13. I would like to say a special thanks to the Classroom Cats . It was amazing having you there. The colorful posters and loud cheering really helped us pull through for a strong finish --- thanks, guys! We hope to see you all back this week.

After Friday nightˇ?s loss, the team was less than satisfied.? We knew we could do better and we were eager to get back in the gym and fix what had gone wrong. Mondayˇ?s practice was intense --- not because the coaches were pushing us, but because we were pushing each other. ?Some of the girls have been upping their game with the addition of new skills and combinations, so keep an eye out for these exciting additions.?

This past week marked the halfway point in the season, and that realization gave us another hit of motivation. With one of our seniors out until further notice, we will have to keep our focus and determination stronger than ever if we want to make it to Utah for Nationals.??? GYMCAT fans are a key ingredient for making that happen, so come on out and we promise to do our absolute best for you.?

We are all ˇ?fired upˇ± about ˇ?blazingˇ± past the ASU Sun Devils at this Fridayˇ?s ˇ?red hotˇ± meet in McKale. ?It is a Red Out , so be sure to wear your red out --- red shirt, red pants, red shoes, red hat, red hair, red face ... you get the idea!? And remember, gymnastics is not golf --- we thrive off the energy of the crowd!? So be sure to let loose, and bring your ˇ?Aˇ± game! ?
