UA tennis continues through Day 2 of New Mexico Invitational

ALBUQUERQUE--The Arizona women's tennis squad had a positive second day of the New Mexico Invitational, winning three out of four in singles, and going two for two in doubles.

For singles play, sophomore Natasha Marks defeated Texas Tech's Kelsey Garland 6-0, 6-1, sophomore Sarah Landsman defeated New Mexico's Ashley Bonner 7-5, 6-0, senior Ariane Masschelein defeated New Mexico's Anya Villanueva-Forte 6-1, 6-3, and junior Jane Huh lost to New Mexico's Laura Richardson 6-3, 6-1.

In doubles, Masschelein and Huh defeated New Mexico's Oldani and Richardson 8-5, and Marks and Landsman defeated Texas Tech's Aviles and Matuszak 8-1.

Up next, the Wildcats will finish off the New Mexico Invitational Sunday.
