Played with club teams in his native Belgrade since joining the Cukaricki club at the age of nine ... While playing for a Serbian youth team, he averaged 7.4 points and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 59.3 percent (16-of-27) from the floor during the 2002 Albert Schweitzer Games in Germany.
